Here’s why I have a passion for serving brides!

Getting your hair and makeup done is often the very first step of your wedding day—and it sets the tone for everything that follows. I believe every bride deserves a calm, supportive space and a stylist who’s truly dedicated to helping them feel radiant, confident, and cared for.

I have a soft spot for helping women see themselves the way everyone else sees them—absolutely lovely in every way.

Beyond creating beautiful styles, I aim to bring a peaceful presence to your entire wedding journey—from booking through to the final touch-up on your big day. I know that wedding planning can feel like a full-time job, and my goal is to make the hair portion feel easy, seamless, and genuinely exciting.

I love working closely with brides to design a custom look that reflects their personality and vision—whether that’s ethereal braids, elegant updos, or soft, romantic half-up styles. With years of experience in styling, extensions, fine hair, and more, I'm here to bring your dream look to life.

If this sounds like the experience you’re looking for, I’d be honored to be a part of your day. Please fill out the inquiry form to check availability for your date.

That’s my why, but here’s how it all started!

At the young age of 16, I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist, but I had no idea my journey would lead me here…

Let me catch you up:

One morning before work, I spent two hours teaching myself how to Dutch braid. I grew up during a time when YouTube was filled with beauty content—makeup hauls, hair tutorials, and “what’s in my bag” videos were everywhere. I’d spend hours practicing hairstyles I found online before heading to my shift at Chick-fil-A.

What I didn’t realize then was that those quiet moments of learning would lead to something more. That cute little side braid? It sparked conversations with coworkers—some even said, “You have to do my wedding hair one day!”

Their encouragement lit a fire in me. I started photographing my styles, filming videos, and sharing them on social media. Before long, I was traveling on-site to care for bridal parties and building a portfolio I was proud of.

Two years later, I went to hair school to expand my knowledge of color and cuts—but creating updos and working with brides has always been the dream.

In 2022, I did one of the scariest and most rewarding things i’ve ever done—

After graduating from hair school, I began working at a high-end salon where I continued growing in my craft—learning the art of lived-in color, blonding, and precision cuts. During that time, I stepped away from weddings to focus on developing these new skills. But as the months passed, I found myself missing working with brides.

I started to wonder if it was even possible to focus just on weddings someday. I kept having dreams and visions of building a bridal business—one I could grow alongside starting a family. Deep down, I knew that if I wanted to make it happen, I needed to take steps toward that future.

In 2022, I opened my own business and moved into a salon suite. I continued offering cuts and color, but with more freedom in my schedule, I was finally able to pour energy into growing the bridal side. I brought in models, participated in styled shoots, and slowly built up my portfolio, social media presence, and client base.

By 2023, I was fully booked and had one of the most fulfilling years of my life—caring for the kindest, most joyful brides. Stepping out on my own was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t taken that leap.

Now, I'm living out the dream I envisioned when I was 16, and I want you to be a part of it!

Today, I’m grateful to be living out the very dream I once wasn’t sure was possible. Focusing solely on bridal styling still feels surreal—and it's an honor I’ll never take for granted. Being invited into such a special, intimate part of someone’s wedding day is a privilege I hold close to my heart.

My goal is always to offer more than just great hair. I aim to bring calm, confidence, and care to every step of the experience—whether it’s thoughtful communication during planning or the quiet, grounding moments on the morning of your wedding. I want every bride I work with to feel supported, seen, and truly beautiful.

This journey has taken time, faith, and a few big leaps outside of my comfort zone—but it’s led me exactly where I’m meant to be.

I’m happily married to the love of my life, and we recently welcomed our first son into the world. As my bridal business grew and we started our family, I stepped away from cuts and color to focus fully on weddings. Now, I have the joy of spending my weekdays at home with my son while running a business that lights me up.

I have a special place in my heart for Kansas brides who love soft half-up styles, romantic braids, and elegant updos. Sound like you? Fill out the inquiry form below.

a glimpse into my personal life

  • personailty

To give you an idea of my personality, I am an INFJ and an Enneagram 2 wing 1. I value creating meaningful connections, serving others with empathy and compassion, being approachable, pursuing creative endeavors, and maintaining integrity.

  • rooted in simplicity

A significant part of my journey—in both business and life—has been learning to slow down and simplify. For a long time, I bought into hustle culture, thinking I had to say yes to every project, every client, and every opportunity. But it left me feeling depleted and disconnected from the heart of my work.

As a woman and a creative, I’ve learned that I don’t have to do it all. When I give in to that pressure, I lose my creativity and risk burnout. That’s why I’ve intentionally simplified my business by focusing on the styles I love most: half-up looks, braids, and updos.

I’m not the stylist for glam waves or messy boho styles—and that’s okay. I believe there are so many talented artists who excel in those areas, and I want to focus on what I know I can deliver exceptionally well. My goal is for every bride who books with me to feel confident in their stylist—and part of that means being honest about my strengths.

In my personal life, I’ve done the same. I’ve simplified my belongings, my schedule, and my mindset to focus on what truly matters. I’m striving for a life that’s slow, intentional, and rooted in purpose—even if it’s not flashy.

  • The heart behind it all

Family is at the heart of everything I do.

I've always dreamed of being a stay-at-home mom while pursuing a career I’m passionate about—and I feel incredibly grateful to be living that dream. My husband, Joel, has been my biggest supporter in all things creative, including this bridal hair business that I love so much.

We met in high school while working at Chick-fil-A (yes, we were that couple!) and got married young. We both believe that marriage is a gift, and we still feel lucky to wake up next to each other every day.

Recently, we welcomed our first son and have been soaking in this sweet season of life as new parents. This little family of mine is my biggest “why”—and the reason I put so much heart into the work I do.

  • what fills my cup

When I’m not styling a wedding or snuggling with our son, you can usually find me in the kitchen, baking something sweet or working on a new loaf of sourdough. I love creating good food from scratch—it’s one of the ways I slow down and recharge.

I also enjoy reading, crocheting, a good cup of tea, being in nature, and gardening… basically all the classic “grandma” hobbies (and I fully embrace it!).

  • beauty with intention

The most important part of my life is my faith. I follow Christ and am actively involved in our local church. My relationship with God has changed my life, and it deeply shapes how I approach both business and everyday moments.

I believe we’ve each been given unique passions and gifts—and we’re called to steward them well. For me, doing hair is about so much more than showing up to a wedding and earning a paycheck. It’s about serving people with intention and heart.

I genuinely care about every bride I work with, and I want her to walk away from our time together feeling seen, valued, and appreciated. Wedding planning is no small task—it can feel like a full-time job. If I can offer peace of mind in the hair department, I know I’ve done my job well.

Every bride deserves a team of vendors who bring calm, confidence, and care—and I’m honored to be a part of that.

  • basket lover and yarn chaser

We have a fluffy rescue cat named Earl Grey—and he’s full of personality! He loves curling up in baskets, chasing yarn (especially when I’m crocheting), and “talking” to us around the house. He’s the perfect mix of cozy and quirky, and we adore him.
